其实在凶手出现的第二次（正式出场的那一次），我就猜到结局了。我以为会有精彩的分析，结果却草草了事，真令人失望。还好有一些喜剧元素在里面，优雅的英式喜剧。个人觉得这一版的马普尔小姐要是身材好一点、漂亮一点，结尾求婚的一幕就更有意义了，不然多少有点牵强。

从推理角度看这部应该是Rutherford版的四部马普尔中最好的一部，比较注重案情本身和相关人物刻画，可惜结尾还是草草收场，很多问题没有来得及交代，比如第一个受害者的死因等。
